The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) is a well respected independent coin grading and certification company. NGC was founded in 1987 and since then has enjoyed the following of many coin collectors for their rigid grading process with a consistent and accurate grading.
NGC ( Numismatic Guaranty Corporation ) independently grades, certifies as genuine, and seals coins in protective tamper resistance holders (sometimes called slabs). Of course, they charge a fee for their services. NGC is the official grading service of the ANA (American Numismatic Association), which is the largest coin organization in the USA. Is estimated they grade over 45000 coins per month.
