The Presidential Dollar coins series began in 2007, they where authorized by The Presidential $1 Coin Act made to honor each of the Presidents of the United States. The obverse design of each Presidential Dollars depicts a portrait, name, the order of servitude and the years of terms in office of the President. The reverse depicts a portrait of the State of LIberty with writing “$1″ and “United States of America.” The release schedule is 4 presiden coins per year and if the President honored served 2 consecutive terms, just one coin will be minted and if a President served 2 nonconsecutive period of service then a coin will be minted for each term. The President Coin series is just for deceased Presidents.
